Raya with a diffrence

If you are the person that is not hiding under a rock, then you would definitely know that HARI RAYA is here and its the festive season for all the muslims. COOOL!!

For my family there was something speacial about this years celebration. The norm of my family would be going to both sides of my grandparents house. Erm...meaning both my dad and my mum parents house.

Only this year, there was a little zest to it. Haha... yeah I really mean it...a little somethig speacial.

My family had a very speacial guest that was going tag along celebrating Hari Raya. That was none other than DR OSMAN. You guys dont have a clue who is he right? Well that because he is a doctor, a very talented doctor, who is my sisters colleague at work. The best part is that he was a pure NIGERIAN from NIGERIA. I dont know wheteher he was muslim or not, but he could speak a little malay but is very fluent in arab, nigerian and english.

So yeah, he followed us to my aunts house as there was where my mums parents was staying. It was cool. The place was lively enough but his presence made it crazy fun and cool. He stood out like a sore thumb in the house, the tallest and darkest dude wearing traditional festive clothes that looks like a combination of the 'baju kurung' and his nations tradiotional clothes. COOOOL.

Spent alot of time talking, learned a lot from him, about his country, food, a little of politics, a whole lot of doctor stuff as he himself is a doctor. FUN FUN FUN. Too bad I didnt snap any pictures of him with the family as we were having a blast talking here and there and the time just flew till 3pm. That was when my family needed to head to my dads parents house and the time that he needed to make his way also.

Then it was at my dads parents house and the place was seriously packed with cousins, uncles and aunts. As my dad have alot of brother and sisters. If that was not enough, a lot of them had kids and the kids had kids...... you catch my drift. A whole lot of people in a 5 room flat at marine parade until there was not enough place to sit stand until everyone was everywhere in the house, including kitchen, bedroom and my uncles even brought portable picnic chairs and tables that was used along the coridors. haha. But i cant recall much from my dads parents place, as i fell asleep in my uncles room. haha. Theres going to be another gathereing for my dads side to all my aunts, uncles place in one day. Its going to be tiring...but cool.
